What do you think about Al Sharpton's MSNBC show being canceled?

He is probably pulling the race card, but I think his show was cancelled due to a lack of ratings so in other words, his show really sucked.

I wish someone at MSNBC would get rid of Joe Scarborough. I am tired of that blowhard, and it has been embarrassing to see him pander on TV to Donald Trump to keep him calling in to his show as a "friendly guest" to keep their ratings up. The Media is largely giving a pass to the Donald, few reporters are pressing him on details about how he is going to effect the deportation of 12 million people, who is going to pay for his 1900 mile wall on the border (environmentalists also are warning that this would be an environmental man made disaster for many migratory animals that cross back and forth through national borders), or release a list of his so called legal experts and scholars that believe that you can deny US Citizenship to the children of Undocumented people who are living in the US, in the face of the Fourteenth Amendment's Birthright Citizenship clause which states that "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside." What happened to all the "plain meaning" conservative legal scholars, who say you have to literally interpret the constitution's text. Looks pretty clear to me. If you are born here you are a US Citizen, period! Amend the fourteenth amendment if you don't like it. People like Joe Scarborough who pass themselves off as journalists, or Al Sharpton, on the other extreme, are one of the reasons that the Media/Journalists in general have sunk so low in the Public respect. We used to view the Journalists as the Fifth Estate, like Walter Cronkite, or Meet the Press's Tim Russert, (I just saw a clip of him in 2005 grilling the former Head of Homeland Security during the Katrina Disaster-Wow was he on that guy like ugly on an ape) and we believed they played an important role in keeping politicians honest, or calling them out for their BS when necessary. Here comes Donald trump who does want to be questioned on his many "glittering generalities" and just out and out false statements that he regularly makes, and if a reporter stands up and demands that Donald Trump answers the tough questions, he his private security goons throw out the reporter from the Press Conference. There is no way I would think about voting for a Democrat this year unless it is Jim Webb, and the Republicans I want to hear from like John Kasich, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorino, Chris Christie, can't get any airtime with the media because they are mostly falling all over themselves to cover Donald trump and his Nonsense, without asking him the tough questions.

Nobody watches MSNBC. That is why they keep juggling their primetime lineup.

The Reverend probably threatened to have another "Protest March" in Washington DC if he didn't get his show on Sundays. Plus this beloved Reverend has friends in High Places who often go to him for advice on racial and religious issues...

NYC Mayor DeBlasio & Reverend Sharpton are close friends. Sharpton wanted to be Mayor of NYC so being close to DeBlasio is his reward by the progressives in New York. And has helped him with his tax problems.
