*Edited* It is not my intention to support this statement, I was in shock at hearing this statement made and want to know how others feel about it. It's important that we recognize there are people who espouse this message.

This is a statement that was made during a discussion about how our current Administration is handling it's affairs in the region.

I disagree with this statement.

What happened to Jewish people historically, a dispersed population living without a country and in need of a country in which they could govern themselves is now what has happened to the Palestinians with about 6.5 million Palestinian refugees now dispersed world wide. When a population of people does not have a government to support and protect it, then they are vulnerable to atrocities such as at the Holocaust. What is true for one is true for the other.

We cannot solve the problem in this area by not allowing any particular group to exist.

Bad things happen when you fight wars and lose. It is much less of a conceit in the 21st Century, but one could point to nearly every conflict prior to 1945 as the losing power(s) losing territory, often to attempt to retake lands lost the last time. Take a look at the evolution of Germany's boundaries. Or Poland's. Or Austria's. Russia's. I could go on and on.
If you pick a fight or the fight comes and finds you unprepared, you're going to be in for a bad time.
Israel's best defense is to be prepared, which isn't too hard for them to make a priority since the Arabs in the region have thrown a war every few years as a reminder. Egypt and Jordan figured it out, and agreed to get along. Syria and certain factions in Lebanon and the Palestinian Authority, not so much.

1SG (Join to see), exactly! I have often wondered what part of starting a fight and losing it and losing territory as a result the Arabs fail to understand.

Capt Seid Waddell - Best part is that Israel had to give up most of its conquered territories to Egypt in order to get a "peace treaty"..

1LT (Join to see) - Thing is, the Sinai became a liability without much benefit once the Israelis got good at tank busting. Let the Egyptians mass in the desert. Due to the topography, it is both easily observed and time-consuming.
The Camp David Accords have been unquestionably a win for all parties. At issue with the remaining parties is that they've demonstrated that they have no intention of abiding by any agreement, and no one has devised a means to enforce any agreement through something like the Multi-National Force/ Observers we have had stationed in the Sinai.

1SG (Join to see), 1LT (Join to see), if memory serves, the Sinai had the only oil under Israeli control.

Michelle, are you seriously asking for who would support a statement that promotes genocide ("pushing all the Palestianians out to the sea")? What in the world is going through your mind?

You can't post a pro genocide statement and attribute it to an anonymous person and expect a serious discussion. What kind of political agenda are you trying to push here? Even the maps you attached are factually incorrect.

LTC Yinon Weiss So while genocide is not acceptible, the Palestinians and most Muslims would not bat an eye to kill every Jew in the world. So one person makes a statement about genocide and the other group preaches it, what do you do? Do you just let them kill each other off? Do you pick sides? Do you send Jimmy Carter to kiss one groups ass. I say you stand back and hope the group that is not bat shit crazy wins.

CPT (Join to see) I have to ask where the graphic came from and wonder what the Jewish population looked like prior to WWII. Also, The graphic doesn't appear to match the statistics from the Israeli government. Prior to 1949, they only counted Jewish and non Jewish. In 1950 ~10% of the population identified as muslim. In 1967 the population density for muslims was still ~10%. It looks like the author of the graphic supports an anti-Jew narrative.

The Herodian dynasty, a period of Rabbinical Judaism, ruled from 37 BCE to 6 CE. Muhammad didn't visit the area until 620 giving question to rightful occupation. Between the romans, byzanths, calaphates and the catholics trying to take the land, why do people (not you) give so much credence to the muslims?

Funny that people forget that JEWS AND MUSLIMS ARE SEMITES! I carify this to mean prior to 1945 and before the influx of JEWS from Eastern and Western Europe after world war II. The dogma of Islam of today aka whabbisim etc did not want to have JEWS live among Muslim but they did get along very well in 10th century Muslim occupied Grenada, Spain. Grenada fell to Spanish Catholics in 1492. When the Spanish crown demanded Jews, convert, leave or die if they did not convert to Catholicism, the Ottoman Empire dispatched ships to take the Jewish refugees to the arab lands because Jews were good workers, educated and they were not at war with Islam back in 1492. They shared a lot in common and Muhammed said to respect them. Fast forward to the 20th Century and radical islam from the 1920s onward erased all that goodwill. Palestinians do not want Israel to exist. Iran, Al Quida, HAMAS, FATAH, and ISIL think very similarly.

The Spainish parliament recently made an official apology and now invites Spanish Sephardic Jews ejected from Spain over 5 centuries ago to come back with honor.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoupIaWdFJI
This may not settle the issues about Jews in Israel but the Muslims have to grow up and submit to sharing the holy land. Islam means 'to submit' but they appear to not want to submit to the facts that Jews were there since way before 5000 B.C.

LTC (Join to see) you are correct about the long definition of a semite. However, the modern interpretation given by the SPLC sees an anti-semite as anti-Jewish. I'll rephrase my earlier statement to state anti-Jew to avoid confusion.

Cpl (Join to see) - Roger on your last. I just wanted modern anti-semites to remember that they were of the same peoples prior to conversion to Islam or Christianity. When Donald Trump made his anti-islamist statements, he ticked off the large population and large portion of Israel's Parliament who are Muslim Israeli Citizen and working with ,instead of against, the Israelis.
