What do you think of the new Army PT uniform?

I've seen the Soldiers wearing the black and gold uniforms for pt recently but only a few. The Army seems to have this problem with uniform changes, I'm a little annoyed. Although I think the current PT's are bland, I don't feel like the Army should be shelling out all this money for flair. It's the same uniform, different color scheme, anyone else annoyed by this? I feel if they were going to make new PTs they could have changed them up besides color. Not to mention I really hate the LS turtle neck. Also, does anyone know the wear date for these new PT's?

The song "Black and yellow " should now be played at all PT formations.
I agree with you on this one. Uniform changes are getting old really quick. Pick it, and stick with it. I was fine with the BDUs and the grey sweats. I prefer to spend my annual clothing maintenance on my current uniform (sewing, dry cleaning, new boots, etc.) as opposed to buying a new uniform all together. Change can be good, but when it changes every couple of years, it gets exhausting. I understand the thought process behind trying to improve "combat readiness", but we have more important things to worry about than the uniform color.
Mixed feelings about this. Yes change is hard economically and socially, but change is also good.
Personally the black PTs are more modern when compared to the grey ones, dispite them being the same design. I do appreciate the built in "spandex".
On the other hand, having to buy new uniforms is a bit of a hassle and burden.
However m, that's the Army we serve in and we should be adaptive in all aspects.

I recently paid of summer PTs, and I don't have the receipt anymore. They should have stayed with the grey sweats because those were simply and cheap.
