What does the word courage mean to you?

The ability to face whatever the day may bring

Courage is being brave and doing the right thing, even if it is hard or if there are consequences. Courage is standing up for what you believe, even if you are standing alone.

The word courage could be look at in different ways. I believe is the act against fear from the worst situation we can find ourselves

Courage, in one of its many forms, is to proceed while in the presence of fear, adversity or potential harm in the upholding of principles, duty, honor or well-being of others whether the desired resultant effects of so doing be immediate, latent or even absent.

Courage means standing up for what you believe in and overcoming challenging obstacles to achieve tasks and excell.

Courage has taken on a few different meanings for me over the years...I am a Human Resource professional and have needed to be courageous for others, who were being persecuted at work for being different or not like the status quo...to me, being courageous wasn't a choice. Being courageous, even when it put me and my career in jeopardy financially, always felt like the right thing to do. I look back at those situations and courage has made me a stronger leader for myself and others.

Doing the work of the Lord in any given situation regardless of who comes against you!

Courage is swallowing the lump of fear in your throat and continuing your fight, no matter the challenges stacked against you.
