I would say I liked my relationship with the NCOs. They were supportive and had the absolute right to question plans or our schedule.

Watching that soldier take it upon him/her self to find an answer and solve a problem to the best of their ability without asking me first.

It does make one fell pretty good. Especially when the person gives you credit for some of his/her success.
