The biggest threat to our national security is current administration and its naïve approach to the significant issues facing our country, and the support of the progressive/leftist agenda that is destroying our country.

Our current steadily progressive decline in support of our morals and values as a nation, which is eating us from the inside out. News and true social distortion is distracting everyone from what the real issues are and that is another topic entirely. Society has become weak and rewarded for it at the same time showing the rest of the world just how far the American Dream has fallen.

Economic.
And I hate to say it, it's "us." The ability to profit off tanking the stock market makes it beneficial for those with a manipulative mindset to cause "destability" to reap rewards. As they are able to profit off a further destabilized market, both positive and negative, it creates a feedback loop, like a machine trying to tear itself apart.
People, for the most part, even countries like "relative Peace" at least until economies crash. When economies start crashing, wars start happening.
I'm not trying to imply capitalism is bad. I'm VERY pro-capitalism. However, I do have an issue with market manipulation. I'm trying to phrase this right, but certain practices are just unethical, and they create issues which threaten National Security and Global Stability.

I agree it is us, and it is partially financial, but I'd also say that it's division among the right and left on some very serious issues. God, Abortion, 1st Amendment, Legal Definition of Marriage, Disrespect to the American Flag, the Confederate Flag, Illegal Immigration, Legalization of Drugs, Sanctuary Cities, all of these are deeply dividing us. People are taking sides and digging in, and there's many others.

The inability of our country to cohesively deal with the challenges that arise. This constant bickering about which political philosophy is best is preventing the U.S. from further enhancing our leadership in the world. It doesn't matter what the threats are if we can't work together to mitigate them.

Not at all. It means that as the world evolves, we must evolve too. The Founding Fathers never faced or envisioned the challenges we do today. The principles they drafted are important, but we must realize (and they did too, otherwise we wouldn't have amendments to the Constitution governed by the democratic process we have in place) that as time moves forward, so must our mindset and interpretations/application of their foundational work.

The cyber threat is by far the biggest; especially in our fairly libertarian society.

The largest threat to our national security is the paralysis in Washington, D.C. and the division in the nation created by the current Administration.

Part of that division is the constant blame of the other guy. The administration has played its part for sure, but so have his opponents.

1. Incompetent government officials who never served in the military.
2. Government officials who are quick to start wars without a draft and knowing their kids will most likely never enlist in the military.

Not knowing how the next major war will be conducted (tanks, air superiority, sea power, terrorist/guerrilla tactics, etc)
I would also say that our lack of cybersecurity is also a big threat. The government worked with the SANS institute to develop the 20 Critical Security Controls for effective cyber defense but now say it is too hard to implement.....
