"Armageddon" The scene when they were trying to detonate the nuclear weapon remotely from earth. A NASA scientist cut the signal and an Enlisted Security Forces guy basically tells him to stop and he sits down and starts typing in the NASA computer. I'm sure that's part of Security Forces training. LOL

I find it funny how things only protect the hero... the bad guy can be behind a tank in another zip code and get killed by BB gun. But the hero can hide behind a blade of grass and be shot at by a 50 cal and nothing!

I pretty much think any movie/tv show that wants to show their "soldiers" in the wrong uniform. Even though it helps us find the civilian wanna bes because they go off of what they see, but it still erks the hell out of me

one part that is probably unintentionally correct was WWII Germans driving US trucks, most German trucks in WWII were taken from other forces - the Germans used more horses than anybody else, a third of Hitler's truck were Fordwerke,(and Henry Ford made profit off of all of them)and another third were Opels (GM of Germany) you don't need to fly the Stars and Stripes on your Dodge truck, because a Dodge Truck is the Stars and Stripes, a German soldier would give up on his comrades before he gaveup his Dodge truck.

Army Deuces were GMC, Marine Deuces were Internationals, and the Lend-Lease Deuces that we sent to Russia were Studebakers, why did we send the best trucks to the Russians, a lot of current Russian trucks still use the same style of sloping hood that the Studebakers used. The Russians hated the tanks that were sent to them, they loved the Studebakers and the Caterpillers

Also, along the lines of fake accuracy, when the "Tora, Tora, Tora" and "Midway" Japanese are giving naval commands in English ("come left," "all ahead full") that is actually correct. The Japanese had the British train their Navy and indeed, most of their battlewagons and cruisers were built in British yards. So impressed were the Japanese that up until late 1942, English was used as a show of respect.

In the first episode of the Stargate tv show they had a dude wearing major oak leafs on his shoulders and SSgt stripes on his sleeves...I guess they took Sergeant Major a bit to literal :)
