It seems to me the grunts would want to know what is in front of them it would suck to walk into a ambush. Those cav guys are the eyes of the

I’m an 11B, my last tour in Iraq I was in a mixed 11B 19D platoon. I love calling scouts gay as much as any 11B, but in Iraq we did the same job. We had a mixed platoon and even squads, I honestly have a hard time remembering who was Infantry and scouts, and despite the fact the hats are gay, some of the best NCOs and soldiers I ever worked with were scouts. I’d go in to combat with those guys any day, but definitely think you guys need to do something about that “scouts out” thing....

Its honestly like trying to compare Christianity and Catholicism. Both are sneaky, both are deadly, both are a force that is unparalleled. But they have different doctrines that they follow.

Cav scouts wear big hats and spurs.
Infantry have blue cords and better promotion rates.

19D go in and find the enemy, and 11B go in and kill them. Hence Calvary Scout. Hence Infantry..

Depictions are to scaled to Infantry Team/Squads and Cavalry Squad/Section elements.
The units are manned with similar numbers but purposed for different missions.

CW2 (Join to see) - Thank you.
Both are important jobs and require top notch
soldiers and troopers on top of their game.

19D - When you want somebody that's not quite Infantry, and not quite a FISTer.
Nothing against my Cav Scout brothers, but y'all can't CFF for shit.

"But Suppressive Fire is CFF!" Being attached to a 19D squadron, it was always fun for qualifying days... they couldn't hit shit with direct fire lmao.

An 11B can generally pass a tape test unlike your average 19D, just don't ask him to pass a math test.

SFC (Anonymous) - you don't have to be a dickweed. I'm merely saying that we're not all stupid. And that snowflake stuff is getting old. I guess your graduate program didn't teach anything about ad hominems, or am I wrong? Either way, "blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." The snowflakes will win.

SPC Zach Lockhart - Cool story bro, but snowflakes will never win because they melt in the face of adversity. If I want to joke and say Infantrymen are stupid you just have to deal with it princess. I have socks that did more time on the line than you so your argument is irrelevant.

SSG Adam Wyatt - True, 11Bs do weaponize math in the same way a fat kid weaponizes a fork. They also weaponize floor buffers and mops too. However if we are going to be honest with each other, it is bad math based on memorized formulas that aren't too complicated. Mathematically, Todd Hodnett's formulas are terrible, but they are good enough to get the job done...but it is still bad math.
