What is the most military-appropriate name you've encountered in the military?

My first Flight Comander's name was Capt Boozer, would have loved to be there when he was promoted to Maj Boozer.

At Fort Stewart, there was a SSG Doom, he was a former Drill. I was at AIT with a Private Sargent, that might have happened with others.

My favorite is SPC Joe Mello of the California National Guard.

In AIT as a Medic, my Company CO was CPT Weinke, soon promoted to Major. Had a guy in my BN named SGT Merrika. In AF Basic, our latrine "queen" was Amn Dick Buttz. Currently have a 2 LT Kidd, I have to restrain from just calling him "Hey Kidd".

We have a Seaman Samples on my ship.

Had a fellow airman named Moon. We would kid him about names for his kids, such as Blue, Full, Harvest, etc.

Knew a SSG Pigg who Got out but was dating a CPT then married her the she became CPT Pig.

I served with a Spc. Battle and a CPT. Jack
