What is the policy for the wear of cold weather gear with the new Army OCP uniform?

I have seen Coyote, Gray and the old Black fleece tops worn in and around Fort Leavenworth.
I know it has been put out you can mix and match with the gray but have not heard anything on the black. The new PT fuzzy hat is black so it would make sense that we could wear the old black one.

There is an AR-PAM. It was posted at the Ft Meade Uniform Store a couple moths ago. BLUF: ACU Outer wear is authorized with OCP. OCP outerwear is NOT authorized with ACU

Also, if you wear the Green Fleece you must wear the ACU name tapes/ Rank. If you wear the Brown Fleece, then you MUST wear the OCP name tapes/rank

Sir, as far as I know Soldiers are allowed to wear any outerwear issued by the CIF regardless of camouflage pattern. I don't think they began to issue OCP cold weather gear yet, but they will eventually start to do so, and it will be perfectly fine to wear those on top of UCP-pattern uniforms. There may be installation/unit specific rules, however, those are not part of Army wide policy.

SPC Bednarski, any outerwear is authorized. What you can not do is mix velcro name tape/rank. If you wear the green fleece you can not put OCP rank/names on it. Conversely, if you wear the brown fleece ACU pattern rank/name is not authorized. If I remember and have a minute I'll find the message and post the link later. "Climb to Glory".

e. The black or green fleece jacket (ECWCS) can be worn as an outer garment when authorized by the commander. DA PAM 670-1 1JUL2015.
There was no wear out date stated in the DA PAM. Didn't look up the ALARACT message though. Might state something about the black fleece jacket. Didn't have access to look that one up from my personal computer.

Okay, I know I saw something about the old sage green stuff being authorized with OCP for y'all in the Army but I have never seen a black fleece jacket before. Out of curiosity, what do you wear for your branch, name and rank patches? Same ACU pattern patches or is there black ones made for it?

Black is still not authorized, the new coyote fleece is $65. You can mix the uniform, I.e. ocp top and bottom with the tan boots, belt, and shirt. But if you switch one of those three you have to wear all coyote. Cold weather gear doesn't matter till it hits clothing and sales or is issued. That is the info I have received.
