Many of us have one thing that really gets to us. I have to say that probably my biggest pet peeve (as it pertains to the military) are ill fitted ACU tops. I constantly find myself explaining to people how their uniform should fit.
What is your pet peeve?

My problem with the navy dress uniforms is that you can't wash them and dry them in a machine. You have to dry clean them. I wish the navy would switch the dress uniform to dress pants a dress shirt you can put ribbons and metals on with a tie. You could wash it and dry it as well as iron it quick. This is important be we have to wear our dress uniform for watches on a regular basis and it would make managing their care a lot easier and less expensive. A big plus for low enlisted ranks.

Its not important enough to me to argue the point. To eliminate the possibility of getting busted for this and getting angry, l had my front pockets sewn shut.

With every uniform I wore, the first thing I did when I go a new uniform was sow the pockets shut.

My biggest irk...? "Parade Pretty". Not only have I seen Males too do this, but females that are notorious for this drive me bat shit crazy!! It is not difficult to stand at Parade Rest, but for whatever reason they decide to cock their hip to the side and they their arms slouch out... It's maddening! You mean to tell me you can't even stand like a professional?! I want to walk up and side kick that hip (Chuck Norris style) into place! Don't get me started on the prisses (again, male and female) who LOVE to roll their eyes....

When someone wears the ABU top with RABU bottoms. The fabric pattern doesn't match and I think it looks tacky

I personally don't see any problem with hands in pockets. My main problem is the fact that I see every one dipping and spitting while in uniform that far more unprofessional then having your hands in your pockets or even eating and moving.
