I have been lucky enough in my career to earn German Jump Wings, Chilean Jump Wings, and Canadian Jump Wings. I normally wear my German Jump Wings but I have been chasing the Spanish Jump Wings for over a decade with no success. Maybe when I get to Italy this year I can finally find a Spanish jump in the area haha

The "German Efficiency Badge (Gold)" That is how the certificate reads. I suck at the shot put so I had to swim like crazy as an alternate event. Fun times.

I have a few foreign awards but the most interesting one to earn was the Dutch "Tweedaagse Militaire Prestatie Tocht (TMPT)". It is a two-day long testing event of various military skills and endurance. I am authorized to wear this cool medal:

That is very nice. Do you have any pictures of it on your uniform? I am interested to see how it looks on the ASU/Class A.

I have only had the GAFPB in Gold up until 2 weeks ago when I got my Japanese wings so I will probably wear them until I get another foreign jump opportunity.

What is your favorite foreign award that you have earned, or which do you most desire to earn?

In the Marine Corps, any awards/schools outside of the Marine Corps are treated like a foreign school is in other services. So whether you jump with the Canadians and earn their wings or graduate from Ranger School and earn a tab, it's all a personal achievement and not recognized on our uniform.
That said, earning the Pathfinder Torch was my proudest individual accomplishment, outside of earning the title Marine. First In, Last Out, Oorah!!!

As for Airbone wings, we can earn/wear basic airborne wings (lead sleds), or if you serve in a jump billet you can earn/wear Navy and Marine Corps Parachutist wings (gold wings). Any advanced training decives (Military Freefall, Pathfinder, Ranger, ect) are not authorized for wear.

Kinda feel guilty, earned my basic wings in 1977 attached to 2nd Anglico. I started having crash and burn dreams after my pinning at Benning. I never jumped again, it was like every night kinda stuff. Marines at the time were either basic, and gold wings on your 10th. I still have the occasional crash and burn almost 40 years later.

Ive been in Ranger Regiment for 6 years and I've missed out on tons of foreign jumps and the German Marakmanship and Obstacle Course badge twice. I've always wanted to earn the GMB..however my favorite current forgein award has to be my Italian wings....cause it's the only forgein award I have lol

If they have a large amount of slots I will. If slots are limited, I will allow some of my peers without a foreign award yet to do it instead.

When stationed down in Panama my company sent a PLT down to Paraguay to jump with their troopers and earn wings. Sadly it wasn't my PLT; so I missed out getting those kickass looking wings.

I'd have to say that my French Commando Badge is it. A lot of fun time, training and attending the school.

Missed out on my chance for Paraguayan Jump Wings in 89' when my company sent a PLT down there for a wing exchange. Sadly it was not my PLT; but what can you do. Those were some badass wings those guys were sporting when they returned.

The German Schutzenschnur. I love shooting! Plus, it is one of the most historic badges (1894).

I never earned one myself. My favorite foreign award would have to be the French Legion of Honor since my Dad just received his fom WWII in January 2015.
