Ok, so I do think it is great that a politician just put it on front street: Good with 2nd Amendment.
And....as far as Christmas cards? Barefoot and carrying a shotgun? Not so much.
The great thing is that it is 'Murica, and she is surely expressing her beliefs. No question about where she stands.

In the world of freak show christmas cards, I appreciate one that shows a family with the firepower to protect itself from anything short of a tank! I like it!

I see no problem with this picture, that is what is wrong with America today not enough pride, and teaching our children and grand children the sacrifices that America has made for it to be free

It's not something that I would send out, SFC Stephen King. :-) At least no one has their finger on a trigger.

I like it. I don't see anything wrong with it. I would not do that but that is just me, I don't do family cards.

It immediately reminded me of the Christmas card on "The Blind Side". They both got a reaction. One was politically correct, one arguably not. So the mainstream will likely say tacky and then some. One end of the bell curve will say right on. The other end will say this reinforces the need for more gun control. My preference is Christmas cards should focus on sharing the joy of Christmas and stay away from third rail opportunities.

Sorry, I find this rather idiotic. I own guns. I love shooting my guns. I've had a concealed carry permit in every state where it was allowed. But I'm not going to be wearing them as a fashion accessory this Christmas.

I have had this conversation weigh many of people. Some on here as well.
The nature of any holiday, whether it is Christmas, or Valentine's day, or April Folds day, is what you make of it. The true origin of a holiday has been so tainted; or the holiday itself is such a hodgepodge of various others. There really isn't a set theme or anything anymore. If you think Christmas is supposed to be about family togetherness, great. If you think it is supposed to be about Jesus' birthday, awesome.
If you think it is supposed to be about guns... um... okay.
