Neither is trustworthy and the sad part is we, as Americans, have accepted losers as our only option to run the country!

Great question, SGT (Join to see). I think that the quality of our candidates, specifically in regards to their character and integrity are severely subpar. The American people deserve much better than this, and in all honesty, I consider this election a blatant slap in the face to the country, our service members, and all those who have held Office in the past. Hopefully the country's voice can be heard and we can do something about this to prevent similar results in the future.

Can't argue with you there, PO1 John Crafton. Though I feel our media (and some internal shady organizations) contributed greatly to where we are today.

I have often said polls tend to turn out the way the person who paid for the poll wants it to go.
Now I think I may have to retract that statement.
THIS poll obviously shows that people overrate the honesty of the two.

Well, since it's a FoxNews poll, it MUST be accurate...
You realize that Fox has the lowest truthfulness rating out of any of the major news outlets in the US, right?

But the question is about the trustworthiness of the candidates not the poll itself, the poll is just someones snapshot in time

I'm a systems type and note most polls and their questions have serious flaws. The media tries to read too much into them and the pollsters can't articulate very well what things the poll has validity for. I'd hope the above picture was at least of Dems only able to answer for Hillary and Reps for The Donald. The only thing that tells me is there's a number of people in both parties that are in the tank for their candidate. If I remember my deterministic statistics tools correctly, beyond that there is a group in both parties where the other candidate disgusts them more than theirs. So the bulk of Dems and Reps will vote their candidate. What's left gets interesting. If you're really disgusted with your choices, that would point to gridlock and a higher likelihood of sitting out. So what's a party to do? This election isn't a slam dunk so they'll do everything. Dig around the corners to find and register more voters. But the bigger well to tap are the independents and some of the supporters for the rest of the candidates. While doing their pitches in that direction you try to lock in what you have. The Dems are stroking early voting hard knowing they're another Wiki Whatever away from losing some number. The Reps work hard to see that registration extensions don't happen to limit what the Dems are trying to dig up. So overall, the tribe has spoken. Both candidates are about as trustworthy as you can throw them.

You cant trust either one of them. We cant even get a debate with the two answering ea. others questions. Hilary appeals to the women and minorities more so she will win the popular votes. I just don't like two things with Hilary, her foreign policy and her gun policy. But who ever wins, its still gonna be a horrible 4 years.

They both suck... Sad state of affairs- completely embarrassing.
And I'll follow either one of their orders when they get elected to tell me what to do

The sad fact I that one of them will be POTUs. But I pray for the Donald to take the job. Hillary is just too radical.

I tend not to put much stock in polls, some say Hillary is ahead, some say Donald is, well We won't actually know until its over in November after the election has been held. In either event, if this is a best We can do We have a problem !

I don't know the sampling groups but let's say it's those who identify as Democrats answering for Hillary and Republicans answering for The Donald vs. a we don't know what demographic but answer both questions. They both have similar "In the Tank For" numbers. My mom is a Hillary Tanker. All that fuss about her is a conspiracy blah blah blah. I guess that may also play for Trump. So the question is for the 2/3rds of the rest, is the disgust factor larger for theirs or the other party candidate. I suspect it's likely about 1/2 of the disgusteds (wasn't one group called deplorables?) will stick with their candidate. So that leaves the 1/3rd left of which a good chunk will sit out because they're in gridlock. So if you haven't noticed, both camps are stroking the independants hard who in general are turned off by both but may have less gridlock. About the only thing polls can do is collect a group of answers that tell you how a group feels not but not how they'll act. We can presume the Tankers will vote a certain way. Most of the I hate this one more group will stick with it. However, the polls can't tell what voters on an individual basis will do. We see the Dems more frantic to lock in early votes before more Wiki Whatever happens. We see the Reps work to not extend registration to try and lock out the Dems who are perceived as trying to expand the victim class. Nasty business both ways. The real question is when this misery ends, what will be the new misery?
