What kind of activities are best for married couples, on and off duty?

Morning, noon, and evening sessions preferred.
All possible stress removed; marriage secured.
Problem solved, problem staying solved.

I think anything that is a challenge, you TWO can do together. A project, a class for two, something creative... but do it together as a team where you both input.... and have fun failing, falling, gettting dirty and getting back up.

My wife and I run marathons with each other.

We play video games with each other.

We watch TV with each other.

We read news stories to each other and talk about them in front of our son.

We laugh and do silly things together. Doesn't matter what.

We read in the same room, just to be nearby each other.

Local events, cookouts with friends, weekend getaways

Every Saturday (and Sundays if we feel like it) we walk to a gas station and get coffee. We will then go to a Farmers Market. We sit and read together. We ride our bikes with the kids to the park or school so they can play.

Good question. I wish we had more "planned training" for marriages - especially that young, newly married, new to the military couple.
With most things military, time-management is key!
