What should I do if I am less than 20 days away from my report day to Korea and still don’t have orders?

You might have assignment instructions but if you’re orders don’t get cut, you aren’t going anywhere. You have to get with your S1 to get all the paperwork to include your levy brief.

That is exactly what is going on . I got projected orders “assignment instructions”. No official orders

You can call the Reassignment section directly and ask for the Levy brief date. Then follow up with your S1.

So now you have to pester S1, you should have submitted paperwork to them to get your orders cut, like your medical 4036-R, etc.

Ahhh, the good ole days! Do you have a branch manager, am sure s/he has a DSN line/commercial.. Give’m a shout! Does anyone use a phone anymore?

Oh sure he has a dsn wich is busy all the time and we i finally spoke to him he couldn’t help me . He is not the problem the problem his with the guy who is supposed to cut my orders

If the soldier hasn't done a levy packet or anything then they can't process orders. Some places are really slow, at my last unit some people were receiving orders like 2 weeks before they had to pcs

Talk with your S-1. If they don't have a good answer, then start up the chain of command. I expect there is an Army directive covering such PCS moves with performance standards for the orders-issuing agencies. It looks like you're in a short-notice situation. If this puts an undue hardship on you and your family, you can request an extension to your report-no-later-than date. Also, if you have a sponsor at your gaining command, let them know.

That is exactly what it’s going on sr. My s1 is not giving me good answers. I summit a 4187 for deferment and all the see is the “yeah you are to close it wont get approved” . Whent today to g1 and got told that they still waiting on Korea’s answer regarding my efmp situation. Was told to come back next week wich leaves me with less day to figure out the situation or get orders in all orders tour but with the same report day. Shame

I wouldn't worry. If you have no orders, you have no report date. I came down on orders literally six months before I had to go and I wouldn't have even thought I was going to Korea if the orders had never come to me.
