Doesn't matter if you agree with this move or not - it's been directed and it's happening. What are your suggestions for renaming the following bases?

- Fort Bragg
- Fort Rucker
- Fort Benning
- Fort Gordon
- Fort Hood
- Fort Polk
- Fort A.P. Hill
- Fort Belvoir
- Fort Lee
- Fort Pickett

In the interest of Political Correctness, perhaps they should be renamed for historically significant LGBTQI+ Icons? (bring on the bigoted responses)

Longstreet was a good officer. His post war activities are not lauded enough. Eugene Bullard was a black man from Columbus GA who would up flying in the World War 1 French air force. He should have at least an air base honoring him. I would also consider naming posts after local Indian tribes or atheletes (amateur Olympic or professional) from the state.

Name them in order (historically) after Medal of honor recipients.

Don't name them after people. But if it must be people Richard Winters and Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain come to mind.

Keeping with the Civil War theme, Fort Benning becomes Forth W.T. Sherman; Fort A.P. Hill or Fort Hood becomes Fort George Thomas; Fort Bragg becomes Fort Rosecrans. Since Fort Meade is already in use, Fort Lee becomes Fort U.S. Grant.

The rest can be renamed for people from other wars. Fort Benning could be Fort Gavin, for instance.

Let's name Fort Hood for Thomas Custer. Anyone that wins 2 MOHs in a week should have something named after him.
