At the rate the WOKE leftists are destroying the history of the US it really doesn't matter what names they erase. We won't have a nation, we won't have a history and we WILL be reliving the past because we will have forgotten our history if we ever learned it the first place.

I suggested Fort Gordon be renamed Fort Sherman.
My real suggestion is: Put all Army Metal Of Honor recipients names in a hat and pull them out one by one to rename ALL Army Forts. Dont leave the decision to politicians.

Honestly, if it's going tnis route then place names, objects, etc., not people. Another source is Greco-Roman deities or the county where the base is located.

Name them all after metal all the honor recipients. For example Fort Bragg would be Fort Benavidez.
