Leave history alone, and do not rewrite politically agenda based history

How about leaving the names intact? They were all Americans, regardless of what side they fought for.

Ft. Polk will always be Ft. Polk to me, Ft. Benning will always be Ft. Benning to me, and Ft. Bragg will always be Ft. Bragg to me. They are a part of MY history and no WOKE p,,,y will ever take that away from me. I have already studied American (and world) history in depth and I know the truths. You can't change my history or lie to me about America's (or the world's) history to me. And for the black Americans who are concerned about Black history, I have already proven on multiple occasions that I know more about Black history than most of the Blacks that I know or have met. I am white.

Apparently you have not tried to secure military hospital medical records for a VA disability claim. Renaming makes it harder.

I believe for the sake of history they be left as is. However, if they absolutely must be changed, name them after other Civil War Heros.

I agree. Leave them alone. Our history is just that. One thing that we need to remember is that the men that these bases are named after, wether they were confederate or union, they were Americans first and they all went to schools like West Point to become officers. Where they ended up on either side of the line is irrelevant. They were doing the job that they were trained to do. These were great men. They were great officers. They deserve to be honored for their service and their sacrifice. Stop trying to change history. It is just that, history. Get over it.
