To whoever can help me out,

I'm very interested in the Army's space program and I want to re-class to a space operations unit. After my research, the information I've gathered is rather vague. I'm not sure what types of qualifications I would need as an enlisted soldier. I only see schools for officers and I'm not eligible to become an officer due to my age. If anyone could shed some light on this matter it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Probably the easiest way to get into space operations as an Enlisted Soldier would be on the air defense artillery side. Being a 91D it would be an easy reclass for you to get as long as you meet the line score prerequisites

The army has the ASI 3Y for enlisted. It is Space Enabler. If you join a Space unit you’ll be required to attend Army Space Cadre Basic Course. It’s 2 weeks long consisting of 2 phases. After 2 years in your space billet you’ll get Space wings.

SGT (Join to see) you have to be in a billet that requires the ASI. I can tell you this. You may have to change MOS first.

SGT (Join to see) I would think a 25S but I’m not entirely sure. I’ll have to do some research.
