So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:

"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."

What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?

What should the Army do about this?

(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

I am never this guy, but if that particular Senior refuses to fix themself, then the only option left is to take it up the chain. There is ALWAYS someone higher than you, so no one is infallible. If they are ignoring regs, refusing to correct themselves, and making an ass out of us all, then it's time for them to go!

I've only on the rarest occasion had to make an on the spot correction of a senior. Discretely off to the side and respectfully. Usually a lose bootlace etc, and never once was blown off. SSG Wiskey

I had a PLT SGT as a drill that was like that. A leader that really was not crappy at her job, but yelled at subordinates just tearing privets and battle buddies apart. No teaching.

Nothing to say since you articulated yourself so well. Sorry to here that she's not only an incompetent SNCO/Sergeant Major, but an insensitive POS for ridiculing you while you were grieving. Hopefully your HHQ will immediately remedy her...via retirement! Semper FI

That wasn't me that she did that to. It was another service member. I'm just a vessel for the story. No one want to say anything directly due to the fear of getting ucmj. But there are so many stories like this. They all have the same theme.

Call em out! As a (currently) E-5 who has served since 1980, I ain't got nuttin' to lose by doing the right thing! I've done it before (in Japan) and protected my Soldiers. The toxic CSM stood down!

Is there a remote chance that someone in her unit can covertly follow up on this person and let us know if she changed her ways, her hair style and her attitude? I sure would like to see some corrective action in this regard. Her retirement sounds like it would be good for all concerned too!

Point out the uniform violation in a respectful and professional manner. If nothing is done to correct it, go to the CSM's superior. As a retired MSG, I find this intolerable!

^ personal courage, duty, selfless service..... an infantry guy would have grabbed some intestinal fortitude and remedied the situation.
