So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:

"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."

What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?

What should the Army do about this?

(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

Trickle down affect. Soldiers are wearing their tops almost to their belt line, the uniformity is lost in the mix. Obviously not being called out for wearing a child size uniform top. That comes from the top...

i would do whatever i could to report this to the Chain Of Command, starting with the CSM of the MP Command, and if that did not work, then i would inform the SMA about a Senior NCO being in direct violation of the standards according to AR670-1

I can understand a new recruit not knowing what the military is all about, but when Senior Enlisted and officers start acting like they do not have a clue what military service is all about, then we have a problem. The military was going down hill fast before I retired in 1996. An E-6 could not tell an E-3 to clean the toilets without having a witness to confirm that everything was done according to TQL (Total Quality Leadership. The E-3 did not have to clean the toilet until it was determine that there was no racism or sexual harassment involved. by this time someone else had cleaned the toilet. The E-3 got away with not doing their job.

here's an update

http://www.armytimes.com/story/military/2016/05/05/csm-counseled-appearance-following-social-media-firestorm/83973536/

Interesting how she has the same last name as someone using the rank of LTG and name of Vickie Flournoy in some of the chains on this issue, and does not exist in the General Officer ranks

The Article has ass covering all over it, if the NCO Support Channel and the COC had done there job this never would have been an issue. Form the look of the photo nobody on the staff wanted to be there and it shows.

1SG Dennis Hicks - i agree, Top, and from the looks of some of the soldiers, they're at the position of 'Parade Chill'

Too little too late, when a CSM can get away with clearly violating Army standards and without any repercussions it sends a wrong message to the soldiers. She got a bye and every other soldier would expect the same if they are not in compliance with AR 670-1. The Commander failed in his leadership by not relieving her as the Bde CSM as an example to all the soldiers in the Brigade. She has compromised he position as the Brigade CSM and a leader.

The Military has uniform standards?? Could have fooled me when I see what they are allowed to wear around here. What ever happened to starch and spit polish? What happened to no BDU's off base? "sigh"

Starch is gone now and you can't polish boots. But the off post policy is abused far too much.

Posted on the 8th MP BDE FB Page yesterday.

"Command Sgt. Maj. Angelia Flournoy discusses the recent social media attention with the enlisted Soldiers of the brigade staff today, outside of the brigade headquarters. She had the following statement for the public:"

“Our Soldiers and Families in this Brigade are the best in the Army, and I appreciate those who have corrected me and expressed their concern about my appearance not being fully in compliance with AR 670-1. You are right to insist standards be set and met by all Soldiers. I sincerely regret how this has distracted from the great things the 8th Military Police Soldiers are doing around the world.

As we move forward, I want the appropriate recognition to be placed on the deserving Soldiers who are continuing to serve our country with pride. It is an honor and a privilege to serve. Now, let's direct our full support to the members who proudly serve within this Brigade in support of our Great Nation.”
