What would you do if your CSM was ignoring uniform and grooming standards? (CSM Flournoy)

So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:
"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."
What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?
What should the Army do about this?
(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

Spotted a MCPO wearing long sleeve wash khaki aboard NAVBASE San Diego with anchors on incorrectly. Had no problem calling him out on the issue. Instead of doing the right thing and saying "thank you, Senior" and letting me correct the problem, he said it wasn't a big deal and left. I followed him back to his command and let a member of his mess know.

It's sad but an issue for her Chain of Command. As to who can correct, anybody can, but as to who should that's a call for the individual. It's best not to correct a senior unless you have your ducks in a row and it requires tact, but is not outside the realm of possibility. The worst part is that we look to our leaders to set the example and when they don't they leave themselves open to scrutiny from anyone within the unit. I never encountered a USMC SgtMaj that didn't set the example for appearance, conduct, or leadership. Some were better than others but none ever presented themselves as anything that was even questionable. To be fair, some at the end of their career weren't as thin and trim as they were 20 plus years before but they were always within the standards. The only time I had to make a call on a senior SNCO stemmed from a 1stSgt. He was getting close to the end of his service and had opted to designate as 1stSgt rather than MSgt because of the ability to be promoted sooner. So he was not necessarily the exemplary type that we associate with a Command billet. He was near his end of service and was transitioning to his future job. He obtained a recall roster from the BN and was cold calling Officers at their home to sell them insurance. I told him on the phone to not call back and that I thought he was out of line and would be hearing about it. I notified the BN SgtMaj, who quickly squared him away before he retired a few months later. There are always exceptions to the rule, but in the case of this SgtMaj someone needs to have a serious chat with her about the responsibilities of her grade and billet.

This is an interesting post and I have experienced situations like this on a number of occasions. The impediments to rectifying the situation are a superior rank and opposite gender. In this particular case you begin at the lowest managable level and you speak with one of her staff laterals who is a female and can "suggest" a behavioral change in a social setting. If this doesn't work, you then go above her to an officer, who should be a Captain or above, who is also female and can affect a change. This should be as far as it needs to go, but if there is superior female to go to, and there is some sort of collusion between the remale NCO and the Company, Battalion or Brigade Commander, then it becomes an IG issue, and this is what the IGs office is for. Document all the issues you have with dates, times and issues. Try not to be petty, but a senior NCO's job is to set an example for the troops and if this isn't happening, re-thinking her trip through the NCO acadamy my be in order. I have experienced a similar situation with a female LtCol, for which a interjected a female Captain that was exceedingly professional and well knowledged to buffer her. I had discipline and activity problems with female airmen and as a male officer, chose to use a female NCO to correct the issue. In a case where there could be a race issue, I chose a female NCO of the same race so that the only issue that could be addressed would be the Air Force regulation violation. If it is still published, the ArmY Field Manual AFM100-45 may make a good read WRT leadership and expected bearing. It may have been superseded since the Vietnam era though.
