Has anyone seen one anywhere in any discussion on RallyPoint? I haven't. Maybe they have a private "room" where they can avoid the common herd. (RHIP) Surely they haven't run out of things to say.

Here's the deal. I did a search for the top influencers and LTC is pretty much where it ends. There are a notable few COL's and CSM's I've seen on here expressing their thoughts and sharing their experience and wisdom with the fellows here on RP. There are a host of 1 Star and 2 Star officers which dwindles down to nothing at the 4 star level. Obviously there are less of them and given that their time is usually caught up in other things, but will any of you stop posting when you get up in rank? I don't plan on it, but hell...I could have reached the xenith of my leadership potential as a platoon leader. Is the discussion too open here? Is RP not mainstream enough? What a great community to message to. Hmm.

We have a couple of 1 stars running around. But I think it's just a product of "quantity." There's just not a lot of flag officers compared to rank & file, even when you add retirees. I did the math once and it was something in the 1000~ active range, but when you look at mandatory retirement age and the assumption that our generals will be 55-60+, will they be online or will they be doing "other things" like board members, CEOs, etc?
