I ask this question quite often, I post his picture on many sites(even the Presidents FB page, but wasn't expecting a reply), but where is his MOH? He gave 150% of himself to BE what the Creed states a NCO should be. He didn't ask for the award, he was all about his Soldiers. He passed in 2005, and it took former President Trump to finally approve it. So this went through three presidents to get to one who signed it, but didn't present it to the family. I'm not going to blame anyone for this, but come on now....it's 2021. It'll be 20yrs since he passed if someone doesn't stand up soon(four years isn't a long time), for this "Dog Faced Soldier", and push the current administration to make it right YESTERDAY. Get Congress to find "unity" again, and push the current President to give it to the family. I'm a nobody. I'm hoping someone on RP knows someone in the senior Army Staff or DOD staff, who could finally stop the new uniform talk and take care of some important business.
We owe him because he's what we aspire to be in the military and out. Major General Antonio Aguto, CSM Quentin V. Fenderson(3ID CDR and CSM), General James C. McConville(Army Chief of Staff), and SMA Michael A. Grinston. It's showtime gentleman.
