This is a fun survey to get an idea of how diverse we are as a service. Different regions of the US have different cultures and traditions, different speech patterns. However, it is interesting how much we grow as a person and service member when we are exposed to the world and other's views. So where do you come from?

I lived in the sticks of Louisiana (you won't even find it on a map, L'Anse Grise) until 4th grade then lived in Houston (attending school in 5th ward) until I enlisted. Talk about experience in extremes.

MSgt Daniel Attilio I can understand that I was primarily raised in Texas but my mom up and moved us to Little Rock, AR when I was in middle school. I went to a city school for a couple of months. My brother and I ended up moving back to Texarkana and living with our grandparents. Definitely a big difference. I hated living in the city....country girl through and through.
