What's your favorite Bond movie and more importantly, who plays him better?

I'd have a hard time choosing between Sean Connery as the classic 007 (even though I grew up with Roger Moore) and Daniel Craig, who is the Bond I enjoy most.

I dislike Daniel Craig as a person, but his character is "bad ass" which I like. All the previous 00's were too classy and refined. Yes, DC may lack some refinement, but I like tougher action heroes than gentlemanly ones.

It depends on which aspect of the character you are looking at.

If you are looking at his strengths and marrying those up, Sean Connery or Daniel Craig come to mind. Sean Connery was able to capture the "animal magnetism" of him, while Daniel Craig displayed the seldom shown Veteran which is usually ignored. I also like Mr. Dalton's rendition as he reset the character with a much darker edge reminding us that there was assassination in spycraft.

If we look at the character's weaknesses, each actor does an amazing job in various ways. It's the flaws that make our heroes interesting. We like them not because they are perfect, but because they are not.

I'd likely lean towards Daniel Craig, but that is because the writing has gotten better over the years, not because Sean Connery is worse. If both were given the same script in their prime, I'd be hard pressed to choose.

Denzel wants to do Bond what does everyone think about that? I could see it! If you combine his roles in "Training Day", "Man on Fire" and "Safe House" I think he's got it.

That is what I believe it was MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca He is working in a menial job that gets robbed and he breaks his promise to be ordinary to get even. It reminded me of the same premise.

Top 3 in order:

1) Sean Connery - His mix of swag and smoothness empitomized the character.

2) Craig Daniels - He brings grit and menace back into the character.

3) Roger Moore - While not quite as smooth or having as much swag as Connery, he did bring a bit more humor to the character.

i gotta go with Daniel Craig. I like the fact that he was more physical in the role(fighting/stuntwork/gruff attitude) as opposed to the previous pretty boys and smooth talkers. I've watched most of the originals with Connery. didn't care for Roger Moore. Grew up on Dalton and Brosnan, but Craig is (currently) my favorite.

I am a Sean Connery Bond girl all THE WAY. I guess it is because I am an 80's kid- but he also has a casual, classy ease to his acting. He is sexy without being...uh, cutesy? He is handsome but not...over-groomed. I also think this Scottish accent sounds rougher and more in tune with the role as opposed to some of the "prissier" versions- the new one in particular.
