She's also something else: The best fundraiser in the Republican presidential candidate's corner.
The senator's wife, a top executive at Goldman Sachs who is taking a leave to work at campaign headquarters, is effectively leading her husband's fundraising operation, running some weekly finance calls and pushing major donors to give the maximum they're allowed under federal law.

They seem to have mutual respect and are committed to each other. She has the experience and skills and she using them for a common goal. I'm not a Ted Cruz fan, but, she sure deserves our respect.

No surprise here. If he wins the top prize, just think of all the travel and gifts she can get. Not only go into the White House poor and leave poorer, but in a year or so, become a rich lady........

I was surprised Sgt Spencer Sikder. I didn't know he has a rich, educated, smart wife. I should really read up more about the candidates.

I don't know either SGT Keith Bodine, but if they follow the Clinton footsteps, coming from poor background, being poor when they left the White House, they too can start a foundation and collect kickbacks from across the globe.

I always thought the fact his wife is/was a top level executive for Goldman Sachs was interesting - considering they have their own PAC and I believe at some point during his re-election campaign, they were President Obama's top donor.
