Roger Moore died today at age 89. His death reminded me that many great acting roles and movies last much longer than a persons life. Great singers and actors performances last much longer thanks to capabilities to preserve their performance. I have VHS, LP, CD, DVD and cassette recordings and capabilities to use them.

George Lazenby is my favorite, just because of the way he got the part. He heard they were looking for someone to take the role over from Connery. So he bought the iconic grey suit, walked into the producer's office and basically bullshitted his way into the part with no significant acting experience.
He certainly lived the part too. During filming he was constantly partying and sleeping with multiple women every night. The only reason he didn't get a second movie was the producers didn't think he would survive making another one!
