Of the authors you've read, who would be your favorite? And do you have a favorite book from this author?

For me it would be John C. Maxwell, and I like his book "Everyone Communicates; Few Connect."

Louis Lamour, JK Rowling, and a couple others..... I am more into the "for fun" reading....I suppose I should do more "self improvement" reading, but honestly, most of that stuff becomes boring and I read to relax.

Dale Carnegie is mine. I have to say his book "How to Win Friends and Influence People is my favorite book he wrote. I also like his book "The Art of Public Speaking". I usually only read non-fiction work.

Another great author is Charles Duhigg. His book The Power Of Habit is another awesome read and will help you in all walks of life. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to make great changes in their lives.

Malcolm Gladwell and Stephen Pressfield, especially now that he is writing more non-fiction. I'd also like to point out that Pressfield was a Marine!

For non-fiction, my favorite writer is G.K. Chesterton. Fiction would be a lot harder to choose. Thomas Wolfe is a great American novelist (especially for "Look Homeward, Angel"). J.R.R. Tolkien and Robert Jordan for obvious reasons. Dan Simmons for superb science fiction. Too many to choose, really.

Leonard B. Scott I really like his books, I also like R.A. Salvatore. I know those 2 authors are not even close in what they write. Guess I just like a large range of books.
