Tie for first: The Redskins cheerleaders when I was in Bosnia 96. They are from America's True Team and my personal favorite team, so it was a perfect match and Twilight Tattoo with TOG. If you have NOT seen this, get on YouTube. It is a dog and pony show from hell, but a damn good one. The worst? Being forced to sit through the Soldier Show. Not that they were bad; they weren't by any stretch, but being forced to sit through it took the enjoyment out of it.

Chuck Norris visited us at a small Combat Outpost in Iraq in 2006....he wanted to shoot a sniper rifle so we put him on a rooftop and he fired three rounds, the third earned him a sniper scar across the bridge of his nose. The fact that he came out to spend a day with our Infantry BN was impressive and earned my respect. Chuck Norris is the man!

Toby Keith at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Went above and beyond your typical "thanks guys" at the end of his show.

Louis Armstrong told a story about how he played "la vie en rose" and everyone yelled "Encore!! Encore!! " when he finished that beautiful French song
And he said then some old Navy Chief who looked liked he was having a real good time yelled " The Hell with Encore just play that there French song again "....

Sgt Tom Cunnally
It's a tie between Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister fame, who didn't bring his band with him so my ship formed a band so he could play for us, R. Lee Ermy "Gunny" who came onboard to film an episode of Mail Call and then talked to the crew, and the Washington Redskin cheerleaders/Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders.

Sgt Tom Cunnally Brother. You're aging yourself here with Louis Armstrong..lol. Would loved to have seen him though. Seen BB King a couple of times at his club in Memphis (when it was still safe to go to Memphis..lol)
