I am proud to have been born in a country, that while we may not be perfect in many peoples eyes, we have done more to promote freedom and liberty than any other society at any point in the history of this great planet of ours. I am proud to be able to speak my mind and that I do not have to fear imprisonment to do so. I am proud to have been able to stand up and protect and promote the freedoms we so dearly cherish and enjoy. I am proud to be an American.

SFC Stephen King I'm proud to be American because of the freedoms we have and we have worked so hard for and I loved serving this great country as well. I would continue to serve if called upon again for whatever reason even though I'm retired. I love it because I could raise a family that was free and I knew they would be free to make their own choices and they are. I love it because you can make your own opportunities if you really want to. There are a lot of things wrong with America that we can talk about and lot of things that are disappointing that happen every day and there are a lot of Americans that don't have what most of have or have earned, but there is always somebody or something out there working to improve upon that and not just sweep in under a rug. God bless America and God Bless all the RP Members, and those who aren't members that have served to keep it a great America!

I was born in a country where my destiny is in my hands. I am not limited by anything but my imagination and drive. I'm not told who I have to be or where I can or can not go. I can criticize the government within reason and have the power of my vote to try to change it. I was fortunate enough to exercise my right and privilege to serve in our armed forces and give back to a country that has given me so much. Not many countries allow their citizens to do all this.
