Why does my profile picture keep being deleted, without explanation?

I removed it, and I sent you a note explaining why. If you have a photo (which is not a requirement), it does need to be a photo of you. It can't be a photo of your kids, your pet, an actor, etc. It can't be a flag, or a logo of a favorite team, or a political banner, or whatever. It needs to be a photo of yourself. If you see others who aren't adhering to that rule, it's only a matter of time until we catch it and make the correction.

Aw, they got you on the fine print. I thought you were Nicolas Cage under pseudonym.

I believe it has something to do with the fact that it is not you in the picture and that Nicolas cage was not an admiral lol nothing against the picture, just against RallyPoint regulations regarding profile pictures.

Silly. But rules are rules I guess. Guess I'll have to rummage through the ol' vault and find a photo, then. Just didn't wanna use my DA photo. Thank you for the response, brother.

It doesn’t have to be a DA photo, you don’t even have to be in uniform, if you are in uniform it has to be correct attire but it just has to be you. Like mine it can also have your family in it. Anytime I can help brother.

SFC (Join to see), RP has rules about profile pics. I don’t know them specifically, but the one you posted likely is against the rules!

A profile picture is your professional representation on RallyPoint. The photo you upload or import should represent you...

SFC (Join to see) Ifthe portrait is of you; in an unusual uniform, youmay plead your case to SSG Carlos Madden of the RP staff.

The requirements for a profile picture may be reasonably specific, but they ARE NOT enforced across the board. I’ve noticed several bizarre photographs used, and I don’t see them removed for cause. And who is not blind to the not-too-infrequent style of picture that a number of females post of themselves? Enticing and provocative, for some of them, would be an understatement. And yet nothing happens. Who was it that keeps saying ‘we don’t want Rally Point to look like Facebook.’ Well, don’t look now RP, but you lost that battle quite some time ago!!!
