Why has MyHealtheVet changed the log on capability?

What is going on in the wide world with the MyHealthyVet.com???? I have appointments that need to be changed and I can’t log on. Is the VA going back to the failures prior to the Trump admin. I can’t call I can’t access my secure messaging (so called)

My friend MSG Roy Cheever I just checked the logon process. The first time I tried i read that the proposed new logon procedures scheduled for March 22, 2022 have been pushed back to April 11, 2022.
I looked at the accepted secure logon process choices and learned that I am already subscribed to 3 of 4 DS Logon [DoD], IDme;...
Since you are trying to logon from Brazil there may be security protocols in place which interfere with you logging on. Is your wife using the same operating system that you are [Windows, MAC, Linux, etc.]? If she is using a different operating system than you are? if so you may have been trying to log on during a period of scheduled or unscheduled maintenance as our friend PO2 (Join to see)

Whenever they are working on the programs you won't be able to log in. Usually after hours on the weekdays and on the weekends it is tied up.

Changes to MHV eff. 4/11/22 came up on my link. Scroll down to continue with MHV only and log in, until 4/11. Still works otherwise. Windows/Edge.

Who is doing more harm,
The hackers or the cyber security guys? If you can’t access the program what good is it? Why bother someone the stress we are told to avoid? I don’t have this kind of trouble talking, SMS’ing or emailing. Why does the VA think it is so important to protect patients in a program or app and then include messaging that can’t be used if you can’t access the app?

Healthcare and Government agencies are major targets. With the VA being both Security is a major focus. Personal Heath information and medication information is a big target these days. I can't speak to the app but I logged in right after I saw this post and outside of a few extra clicks I was able to sign on without issues.

Same here Sarge - their new sign-in doesn't seem to work and I cannot access ANY of my info like appointments, prescription refills, etc. I've gone through their login multiple times without success. I've emailed tech support but their advice didn't work. After 1/2 hr on hold, I gave up and will try later when I have more time.

Why aren’t you simply calling the particular clinic in question to make the change, and ask about your access. I just tested the login and had no problem. It may be very simple.

The VA is changing to a more secure login I have been told. this is on the Sign in page

My HealtheVet Only Sign In
Starting April 11, 2022, Continue to My HealtheVet Only will no longer be available. Users will sign in using the new sign in.

If you click onto the "Continue to My HealtheVet Only" you can still sign in
If you have a DS logon like you use to access MyPay you can log in with it. I did have to log on and then go to My HealtheVet/Personal Information/My Account/Manage Account Access to enable DS Logon Access
