Why is it that anytime Trump is mentioned someone is compelled to regress to Hilary?

The election ended a couple of years ago. I don’t much care for the diversion tactic of pointing at the past. That investigation is separate from the one they are conducting currently. Many of the faces are the same but “She did it too” is a ridiculous response. No, this isn’t one of my wry humor questions. I really don’t understand. Sgt (Join to see) SP5 Mark Kuzinski

I spoke to a retired COL who worked the Pentagon and the State Department back in the 80s and 90s. Those people getting a letter in their files over having retroactive classified e-mail is a customary discipline.
I still can't believe she got away with it! Nobody here on RP would get away with it

LTC (Join to see) this address Hillary. My question is why do we revert to discussing Hillary? Yesterday’s news. I want to see personal responsibility in government, not finger pointing

Maj Kim Patterson President Trump is making mistakes. I admit that, I'm just saying that I hope that his lawyer Rudolph Giuliani has so much stuff on his phone and data that's going to not only hurt the president need to give him a black eye but probably break the legs of Joseph Biden politically. I'm just saying the kettle calling the pot black and let's see who survives this Ukraine situation. Because if President Trump was doing things wrong with the ambassador to the United States Ukraine or made a deal with Ukraine withholding Javelin missiles but if Ukraine had information concerning Biden's younger son and the 1.5 billion dollar deal, then President Trump's going to be in trouble but we will end up having Elizabeth Warren running for president on the Democratic ticket. This is just my opinion. As a field grade officer, I know you were talking about accountability. I don't like what I'm seeing but the hypocrisy is going on both sides now.

Maj Kim Patterson it is my opinion that if President Trump would have been Secretary of State under a Republican president and had he had a secret server exactly like Hillary Clinton did in her bathroom, he would be in prison because the FBI would not have found him negligent but not prosecutable. They would have prosecuted him under the law and he would be sitting in prison right now. That is my opinion

The issue isn't so much about what Hillary or some other Democrat did, the issue is the hypocrisy on the part of so many people who foam at the mouth at practically everything that President Trump does, while those same people are completely apathetic about Democrats who did exactly the same thing (or far worse in many cases) those people claim to be upset about Trump doing.
The point is that those people really don't give a crap about the issue they're claiming to be offended about, they're just using it as a pretext to bash Trump. Bringing up what Hillary did is a way to point out that hypocrisy and disingenuousness.

Hypocrisy and corruption in the IC. And as stated by another poster, these issues are interconnected.

MCPO Roger Collins There has always been hypocrisy and corruption. That’s politics. My question remains why do we keep pointing at Hillary instead of addressing the present situation?

Hillary Clinton: Trump is threatening our democracy
During a campaign rally, Hillary Clinton talked about Donald Trump's refusal to say whether he will accept the election results, saying by doing that he is "...
Maj Kim Patterson Some of us can walk and chew gum, at the same time. The DNC and Hillary paid for bogus information on Trump. That was the predicate for the collusion delusion. It’s directly tied to her and illegally given to FISA Courts, two or three times.
