In March of 2019, the Department of the Army modified the DA Form 1059 "Service School Academic Evaluation Report". The form now says Failed to Achieve Course Standards, Achieved Course Standards, Superior Academic Achievement (21%-40%), and Commandant's List (Top 20%) under overall academic achievement in contrast to the old form which had Exceeded Course Standards, Achieved Course Standards, Marginally Achieved Course Standards, Did Not Achieve Course Standards. With the changes to the form, do you think for the achievement block on SRB/ERB next to military education will be changed to reflect the new form? As of now, Achievement (ACH) on the SRB is left blank unless you achieve Commandant's List, Distinguished Leadership Grad, and Distinguished Honor Grad. Due to the new form including Superior Academic Achievement (21% to 40%), should this be reflected on the SRB/ERB as well? PFC (Join to see) SSG(P) James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" LTC Stephen F. The only reason it's mentioned on the ERB is because those are worth extra promotion points. Emilpo being the promotion source for semi centralized promotions, the information needs to be readily available to emilpo. Nobody actually cares about CL. There is no one reviewing ERBs for CL to find the next PSG. The centralized promotion board has all your 1059s (basically the only people who will ever view your 1059) and they can see your GPA and scores.

SFC (Join to see) until two people have the same amount of points or qualifications for a position and one has CL and the other doesn't.

SSG(P) (Join to see) that literally means nothing to anyone. You would never find yourself in a position where two E5's or E6's are so exactly equal that their NCOES GPA got them the job. NCOERs, APFT, schools, qualications, references, availability, and general likeabilty all come into play first. CL in an NCOES is about one step above Basic Training honor grad to the people viewing your ERB. Those people are PSGs, 1SGs, and occasionally CSMs

Change is a constant in the military, the forms will change, processes will change, we will adapt, learn, and keep doing what we do.
As for reflecting the past changes or updating them - it's possible, but I dont forsee that being a priority.
I'm sure a lot of it will boil down to who you know in S1 and if they want to help
