WWII Army sleeve insignia: does anyone know what this insignia means?

This photo is of my grandfather's uniform, from WWII era Army. My family is trying to figure out what this insignia means. Can anyone here on RP help? Thanks!

Distinguished Unit (Right Sleeve). Wreath patch denotes a member of a distinguished unit.

Any leads on which unit(s) he was assigned to or a MOS? this commendation was usually awarded at the company level, sometimes at the BN or REG level. It was an exception to policy when they awarded the PUC to the entire 101st for Bastogne.
