Thanks to many great member suggestions and requests, RallyPoint is putting on our first ever RallyPoint Conference: RPx 2014!
RPx 2014 will take place at the Raleigh Convention Center in North Carolina on SATURDAY, August 16th. It will be an incredibly fun and engaging event with great speakers, a new product announcement, networking events, and an Awards Show with dinner. The Awards Show will be hosted by SSG Robert Burns, and the Master of Ceremonies throughout the day will be SSG Kevin McCulley, both long time RallyPoint members.
Please use this discussion thread to ask questions, suggest additional events, and recommend specific award categories for our Award Show (dinner is included). The award categories and nomination process will be announced in the coming weeks.
There is a discount for Blue Ribbon members, E-1 through E-5, and full time students. Tickets and more information are available here:

Count me in. What are the subjects or tracks? I do a lot of public speaking, if you need.

"Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise"! See, I'm even working on my southern. Who knew I could be bilingual?

Well...I have no excuse not to go since it is only 22 minutes away from the house.

I should be able to make it - not too far from home and my obligation to Ft Jackson should be done by then. What's the dress?

Button up shirt with an extra large collar, top 4 buttons undone, gold chains on my neck, skinny jeans and Converse shoes (untied, of course) and some crazy hair gel job. Check. See you there.

I think a tuxedo T-Shirt works well for every occasion. Who would dare argue with a man wearing that?

Only a little over 2 weeks until we take RallyPoint from online to an actual gathering and I for one I'm really looking forward to it!
Is there an updated registered head count CPT Dave Shephard ?

I am very excited about this event. I am going to do my leaders recon the week before and find a good spot for my support by fire and CCP.

If any one is interested, I just told 1SG (Join to see) that I'll be getting to the Marriott Hotel around 2100 hrs on the 15th of August and after checking in and putting my luggage in my room I'll probably go and find a good watering hole. If anyone would like to join me, feel free to send me a PM and we will work out the details.

Well it looks like I'll be actually able to attend. Just trying to get the finances straight to make it.

I'm right there with ya. I've got my bus ticket to Durham, but I'm trying to figure out my RT transportation from Durham to Raleigh. Saturday morning won't be a problem. Sunday morning is going to be a bear. Looks like I'm going to need a cab because my bus from Durham leave back to Atlanta at 7am and the public transit doesn't start running that early sunday morning and I literally feel like I have exhausted all other transportation options.

Again, this is going to be an awesome venue. I hope that all members who have a ways and means to attend, take advantage and do. I wish I could be there. I look forward to the AAR and notes from the forum. Enjoy!!!
