Several commissioned officer and warrant officer specialties are included in a sharply revamped program that allows National Guard and Army Reserve members to go on active duty in the Regular Army.
The RA Call to Active Duty program is limited to Reserve-component officers of the basic branches.

I was tracking that the Army anticipated cutting the number of active-duty officers in 2016. This must be advanced "Army logic" that lieutenants are not yet capable of comprehending.

Yep very high level army logic, I was considering putting in a packet for a conditional release to active duty to apply to WOCS or OCS then I saw the selection rates for officers and went let's change that packet to a guard packet. Now I'm questioning myself again.

At over 65, do you think I could pull it off? Ha, scars measured in meters and metal close to a pound. I would try it!
