Red Cross also stepped up but I hope we don't have to do it again

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel If no one else employed by the government is paid during a shut down, why should the do-nothing Congress be paid? All employees should suffer equally!

I've been through multiple government shutdowns, not once did I not get paid, not even my retirement pay was stopped during the last couple shutdowns.
