I watched these guys do this up in Seattle one time...and holy crap...they are tough well trained, and fearless. I was scared the whole time watching...for them...it was routine.

Kinda gives you a hint what these brave people face in their mission,the motto is “You have to go out and try,You don’t have to come back!”

They have a whole museum dedicated to these guys out there in Seattle, and you can watch some of their rescues on film. We got to see one (from a safe distance) in real life at the ...I forget the name of it, but it is where the river meets the sea in Eliot Bay, it is known as "Breakers" or something like that, and it sinks tons of ships. And those guy pull the crew out safely...most times.
