Just out of curiosity if there's a no contact order between an officer and enlisted soldier; if you happen to accidentally cross paths with one another in uniform (outside) would the enlisted/officer have to turn around or what without saluting? Would that be disrespect or what??

The no contact order is to keep two people from purposefully meeting and engaging with each other. If they were to randomly cross paths with one another, the proper courtesy and greeting of the day would be appropriate, and then the two must move on to wherever they were heading to. If they were both going to the same place, it would be wise if one of them chose to move on to another location as soon as possible to relieve the impression that something was amiss and out of order.

I assume that you mean within your company and not the Battalion XO. They are both LT's I assume as well. Nothing wrong with that. 2LT and a 1LT. However, this is a "no-contact order" discussion, not fraternization. If they had a non-contact order between the two of them, they would be in violation of a direct order. If one of you had a no-contact order with one of them, it's a gray area, but one of you should not be in the same place as it may be misconstrued by one party or the other as a violation and could result in UCMJ.

Accidentally crossing the paths happens in situations like this. If you were both to walk around the corner outside and 'there you are', then salutes are exchanged and you both continue on. If one of you engages the other, then they are violating the order.
