"Republicans need a candidate who will have the ability to throw every punch at the Democrats. However, that candidate had better make sure they don’t have the glass jaw of Mitt Romney"

In 1999, Fiorina became chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard Company, making her the first female head of a Fortune 20 company. In 2002, Fiorina muscled through the multi-billion dollar acquisition of Compaq Computer, a major contributor to the greater than fifty percent drop in the value of Hewlett-Packard shares during Fiorina’s tenure. In 2005, Fiorina was ousted by the company’s board of directors who believed that Fiorina’s management style was stifling the company's growth potential. In 2008, Hewlett-Packard paid $14 billion for computer services company, Electronic Data Systems Corp. Many say the move vindicated Fiorina’s earlier strategy. In addition to the failed Compaq merger, Fiorina’s legacy at Hewlett-Packard has received criticism for destroying the company’s culture, loss of half of the company’s stock price while also firing 30,000 employees. She is considered by some to have been one of the worst technology CEOs in history. During her time at Hewlett-Packard, Fiorina was appointed as a member of President George W. Bush’s Commission on Implementation of United States Space Exploration Policy. - See more at: https://www.conservativereview.com/Commentary/2015/08/~/link.aspx?_id=7A547D0AAAEC4217B9127CC8E3129D6A&_z=z#article-3

I think Carly gets too much of a bad rap for her HP years. She was working for her bosses, the Board, who at a minimum bought into or more likely were co-owners of the strategy. It worked and didn't work. The company morphed into a different animal. It couldn't continue as is. If you look at her tenure, it would be hard to think of who'd do better giving the hand that was dealt. I'd hope she will take responsibility for her share and move forward. You learn more from bad experiences.

I wonder if she'll be around come next March. If so, she'll deserve a closer look. I'm doing my best to be an informed shopper.

But Capt Ball ...Carly is not doing well having cash match her hype...The Dem Fat Cats are not donating big bucks to her campaign and she has been out there beating the bushes to get them to open their wallets...And don't forget those of us who lived in California remember her last campaign.... That should be a case study in Political Science Classes on how not to run a campaign for senator. Carly misstated her tenure at Hewlett Packard and spent too much time trying to demean and degrade Barbara Boxer. She criticized Boxer's hair, personality, intelligence and etc that began to just go too far..

It seems everyone is looking at her old record and not the policies she is running on.. If you think she failed then maybe she did the real question is what did she learn from it. Is failure really failure if you lean and take something from it so the next time you face that situation you are better prepared? We should look at all the candidates policies not there past, this also includes Trump as much as I hate to say it..

I don't disagree with you on she may not be what the country needs right now but then who?? I really don't get a warm and fuzzy from any of the candidates right now, but it is still somewhat early so maybe someone will change my mind. If you look at all the candidates running right now no one stand out as doing anything special in my eyes. Rand and Cruz need to stay were they are Carson seems ok... and Trump all I can say is do we really want to give the strongest military to someone who acts like a bully when you call him out? what happens when Putin tells him to go pound sand? HC lied about the server and if the truth does finally come out about Benghazi she is sunk. Crazy Joe has not made up his mind but I am more in line to vote for him right now with Trump leading the other side. I should be back state side in time for the final push so we will see I just say keep an open mind and remember it is not going to matter who wins unless they can either A. reach across party lines and get things done or B. someone gets a super majority.

CW3 (Join to see), Trump is showing signs of topping out. I don't believe that he will be the nominee as it is a long way to the elections and nobody can stay on top for that long.
All of the candidates have plusses and minuses; it is the work of the campaigns to bring out the facts on all of them so that a reasonable choice can be made. I think that process is working.

Rubio has a good chance but he has to step up his game he is being overshadowed by Trump and Company. He can do it but he has to step it up it may be early but as we have all seen the media will shape who they want and if he doesn't start showing up they will leave him behind.
