Kansas woman told birth certificate wasn’t enough to prove citizenship for passport

Something weird going on here.

My wife was born at home as were most of her 6 siblings, heck she was even born close to the U.S./Mexico border (in San Diego), I wonder if she's going to have a problem when she goes to renew her own passport.

I have found it ironic that you can go to war with a military ID card, but can't use it at various agencies.
