A soldier and an airman were found dead last week at Joint Base San Antonio, base officials announced Tuesday saying the deaths are unrelated.
Army Spc. Brittany Harris, 35, was found dead at about 7 a.m. Wednesday at Fort Sam Houston, base officials said. Harris, who joined the Army three months ago, was training to become a combat medic and was assigned in early November to the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence.
Air Force Airman 1st Class Peter Gonzalez, 21, was found dead at about 5 a.m. Thursday at Lackland Air Force Base. Gonzalez, who enlisted in the spring of 2019, was a biomedical equipment technician assigned to the 59th Medical Wing.

Sad news for sure... Lt Col Charlie Brown. Separate incidences, but still kind of strange... May they both now rest in peace... Prayers given for their families...

That is sad news. Interesting post to have two people in the medical field dead. SPC Harris must have been prior service. 35 is a little old to just be entering the service.

SPC(P) (Join to see) - glad you did. I was 25 but I went to OTS, not enlisted; when I was recruiting the age limit was 30 for officers unless you had a specialty like nursing, physician, pharmacist, lawyer, chaplain

Wasn't there just a story about a SSG that reenlisted in his (50's?) And went through BCT all over again? I'm sure they'd give you a waver if you still wanted to. ;-D
