Things to avoid here

This is a MAJOR city. The central hub of the United States. If you get paid in the Military or from disability with the VA your checks come from the federal complex HERE. There is a lot to avoid. Generally if you find yourself in streets numbered lower than 20 you are probably in a run down, low income area, Meaning increased crime. Some streets Emergency crews will not even go to without moderate Police back-up... Stay away from industrial areas as well especially after 2300. The homeless population is rather high but do avoid pan handlers because I would say roughly 70-80% are fake. Do not carry much cash if any, in fact avoid a wallet all together just need your ID and Debit/Credit card and some cash. Never know what might happen. Also Avoid anything Honeywell or General Electric... Or don't and you will soon understand why I say that.

Generally Speaking: If you aren't supposed to be there, Don't be. and if you find yourself lost? Mind your own business and ask for directions at a gas station or some other store.

OC spray and a Taser are not a Bad Idea
