MPH OR MORE, AND HIGH TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER FOR PORTIONS OF THE
PERMIAN BASIN...

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY MORNING
THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR PORTIONS OF THE PERMIAN BASIN...

For the watch, late Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.

* WINDS...Today, west 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
Wednesday, west 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 8 percent.

* RFTI...6 or critical.

* IMPACTS...Avoid the use of open flames or any activities that

that chains attached to trailers will not touch the pavement,
thereby eliminating the possibility to generate sparks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will increase
potential for fire growth.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.

Vegas Weather Has Been Down Right Strange This Year.
Just The Other Day, The Strip Casinos Had Snow On The Roofs &
The Snow Ski Areas At Mt. Charleston, Were Slapped With 18" Of That Crap.
I Guess If I Want To Escape This Lousy Weather I'll Have To Return To Michigan.
~~ Ya Right; I'll Pass.~~
