Advice for those moving here

If you are the service and get stationed here right before you get out or retire; try your best to get a GS job anywhere through the contacts you currently have. I came back here from South Carolina and have had no luck at all after two years!

I could have gotten a job easy in South Carolina because of the contacts I had there but I did not want to stay there. I should have done that first and once I was in the GS system, eventually transferred here. The bottom line is be ready to apply everywhere to get your foot in the door somewhere here in San Antonio because the competition is fierce.
