I say instead of looking for reasons to die, look for reasons to live. My purpose to live was my family as it would hurt them and suicide often becomes I a family matter.

Focus on what I call basic survival tasks: eat, sleep, work out, keep a good hygiene.

Then find coping skills for your symptoms.

Facing The Mirror of Self-Truth and Acceptance
Author compiles real stories, personal experiences, and thoughtful poetry in one inspiring read

Carlisle, PA – From Europe to Asia to North America, he has witnessed the cruelty, agony, and harrowing effects of war, not just in society or physically but more so emotionally and mentally. Retired veteran Stephen Williams Jr. shares a raw, honest story of a combat veteran's struggle with severe post-traumatic stress disorder in "The Mirror".

This book dates back to when he was a child, to a time he was suffering with severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. This is an inspirational book for people who are dealing with issues trying to cope from the demons of PTSD.

Some stories here may be long but they are never dull. Some are based on relationships and others are based around family and friends. Some were written during the time of conflict or war.

The poetry is to relax the mind when one's mind is filled with all kinds of hate and killing and there is nowhere for things to go and no more bullets left to shoot at the enemy and nowhere to go from here.

This book is available online and can be purchased at http://www.bookventure.com, http://www.amazon.com and http://www.barnesandnoble.com.
