Lt Col Charlie Brown The gift that can save a life. I started donating in boot camp at the age of seventeen. (I got tapped twice! Once the first week of training and again the last week!)

They asked me for two pints because I'm B-Pos. Now, I can't donate because of clotting problems . . .

Seem like every one of these drives is an emergency. It’s a good cause but if every request is an emergency perhaps better leadership of the Red Cross is needed.

It isn't the leadership. Like many other things in our country....less people are motivated to do for others, COVID lockdowns did the rest (and like recruiting...many are not qualified to donate although many restrictions have been lifted)

Lt Col Charlie Brown It is also leadership....

My local blood center has canceled or delayed multiple drives because the supply truck just didn't show up. I have to try to cram a donation into my lunch hour. I can't just go back later or sit around and wait. I had one patch where it took me 9 tries to actually donate.
